I’ve always believed that confidence isn’t about being the loudest person in the room or having all the right answers. It comes from knowing who you are, feeling prepared for the moment in front of you, and having the skills to connect with the people around you.
That belief is at the heart of Social Graces. Whether I’m helping a child learn how to introduce themselves, preparing a student for an important interview, working with an athlete on professional presence, or speaking to a room of emerging leaders, my approach is always personal, warm, and practical.
I believe every person has innate value and something meaningful to bring to the world. My greatest privilege is helping people recognize that in themselves, build the confidence to step forward, and rise into who they were made to be.
To me, etiquette has never been about perfection or formality for formality’s sake. It’s about awareness. It’s noticing the people around you, communicating with intention, and knowing how to make others feel seen, respected, and valued.
The same is true of confidence and leadership. You don’t need to become the loudest person in the room or change who you are to make an impact. With the right tools and a little preparation, you can walk into new situations knowing you belong there.
